Tree Felling and Removal

Tree felling is the ideal way to make space on your land; whether you require the area for building works or a diseased tree is threatening the safety of your property, our professionals can provide the most appropriate removal.

Tree felling should only be attempted by licensed arborists. Through experience and training, the team at Everest Tree Services can predict and prepare for the falling path of the tree, to remove the risk of damage to you, your property, or your grounds. To enable us to complete the tree work as safely as possible, our specialists use the latest machinery and rigging equipment to remove the tree either by fell or section fell.

Tree Maintenance

The expert tree surgeons in Hitchin at Everest Tree Services help keep trees in optimum condition. Taking into account both the appearance and health of the tree, our maintenance services tackle everything from pruning to pollarding; we can help with but are not limited to:

• Crown Reductions and Thinning – Aiming to reduce the size and spread of the crown, this method is the best way to lower the overall height without causing any damage to the trunk. Crown reduction can help to ease the stress on the branches, giving them a better chance of survival in extreme weather.
• Tree Pruning – Pruning is a more aesthetic maintenance method, cutting back outer branches and shaping the crown to achieve a well-maintained look.
• Tree Pollarding – A more dramatic maintenance technique, pollarding involves the removal of the entire crown leaving only the truck behind. This process allows the height of the tree to be controlled and promotes a denser crown when the branches regrow.
